As Allegis Capital's Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, Kendall Cooper's responsibilities include finance, legal, investor relations, administration and compliance. Mr. Cooper joined Allegis in 2010 from Mayfield Fund, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Mayfield, he served as Managing Member and Chief Financial Officer at Dominion Ventures and as the sole Managing Member of the General Partner LLC created to manage the wind-down phase of Sequoia Capital VIII. Mr. Cooper previously was a consultant for Cardinal Venture Capital assisting in fund formation, fundraising and strategic activities; Director of Due Diligence and Documentation at venture leasing pioneer, Equitec Financial Group; Emerging Business Specialist at Deloitte; and Analyst at Texaco Canada, Inc. Mr. Cooper has served on boards of directors of several companies, including Knowlix Corporation (sold to Peregrine Systems), Occupational Health Development Corporation (sold to U.S. Healthworks, Inc.), Spontaneous Technology (sold to Intellisync), Camstar Systems, Inc. and Intesource, Inc.
Mr. Cooper received an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles and BA in Economics from Brigham Young University. A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Cooper serves on the board of directors of the Private Equity CFO Association, and is a member of the National Venture Capital Association CFO Task Force and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
