Marketing Veteran Carine Clark Joins Allegiance as President and CEO
SALT LAKE CITY — October 30, 2012 — Allegiance, a provider of VOCi (Voice of Customer Intelligence) technology and services, today announced that Carine Clark has been appointed president and CEO, effective January 2, 2013. Formerly SVP and CMO for Symantec, Clark has twenty five years of experience building successful software companies. Allegiance's founder and current CEO, Adam Edmunds, will remain actively involved as a member of the board of directors and will lead the company's expanding partner and business development initiatives.
Recognized for her entrepreneurial approach and no-nonsense style, Clark has an extensive background in developing marketing, operations and product strategies that enhance corporate reputation, increase shareholder value and accelerate growth. As an executive at Symantec, Altiris and Novell, she was responsible for driving top and bottom-line company growth through fiscally accountable and operationally efficient marketing. Her leadership helped establish Altiris as one of the fastest growing technology companies in the world, growing revenues from $62 million to $230 million during a four year period. At Symantec she led the rebranding of the firm globally, built a demand generation operation supporting aggressive revenue growth, and integrated the brands of many key acquisitions including Altiris and VeriSign.
In her new role at Allegiance, Clark will focus on improving operations, advancing marketing and sales strategies and building key industry relationships. Through her previous experience with dozens of acquisitions and new product introductions, Clark has demonstrated expertise in bringing companies and people together with the exceptional ability to quickly promote best practices and to drive integrated teams toward common goals.
